I don't know if anyone else is interested in this guy as much as I am, but I find the concept of regenerative farming quite interesting. I'd like to visit his operation someday but also can't help but wonder what's going to become of it, and his movement, when he's no longer with us.

Great video !! Almost makes me want to build a chicken tractor and start up … again ! Not with a buttload of birds , just enough to fill a freezer or two . I do miss raising meatbirds , very little time involved.

At this point I have no desire to take on an operation like Salatin has. He has the benefit of not only his family helping but interns that help around the farm. It’s far more than any one person could do on their own.

But the principle of what he promotes can be scaled down to suit one’s needs and abilities.

I’ve learned a lot from his videos and have been able to apply some of it to what I do around here. That which I can’t is still interesting and enjoyable.
