Rivaldo, currently incarcerated, allegedly assaulted another inmate, causing injury. He was charged with Assault in the Second Degree, a class D Felony and arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and returned to the Steuben County Jail without bail.

The victim was treated by medical staff at the jail.

Rivaldo has been previously charged after an incident on August 16th in which he then also reportedly assaulted another inmate and then on August 7th for allegedly possessing an item that was modified to be used as a cutting instrument.

Rivaldo is currently in custody and charged with raping a 90 year old woman in her apartment on July 13th as well as murder charges after the victim died days later.
