The NFL schedule traditionally gets plenty of attention. However, there has been more scrutiny as the league has carved out games for streaming services.

Of the 272 regular-season games next season, 22 will on a streaming service as the primary network (one more than announced last season), and 14 will be primarily on cable.

That leaves 236 games that will be on CBS, Fox, NBC or ABC, meaning 87% of the schedule will be on broadcast television, the same percentage as last year. All games in a team’s home market air on a broadcast network.

Even with greater scrutiny of its distribution models, the league stuck to the same plan, according to Hans Schroeder, the NFL’s executive vice president of media distribution.

“Our focus is on getting the best games into the best windows,” Schroeder said. “And even with the additional games that went to Netflix, we think we’re expanding the reach of those games.

Putting the Bills’ Christmas Day game on Netflix is absolute BS

Christmas day games were on Netflix last year too I think. Maybe Prime but not regular stations.

I know I was at my brothers and he's "frugal" and didn't have any of the streaming stuff. My sister ended up streaming off her phone so we could watch them.

Myles Garrett finally got his wish — to be a part of a consistent winning team instead of one in perpetual rebuilding.

The Cleveland Browns traded the two-time AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year to the Los Angeles Rams for pass rusher Jared Verse and three draft picks in a blockbuster deal on Monday.

Garrett was the unanimous choice for Defensive Player of the Year last season after he had 23 sacks and broke the NFL single-season record. He is expected to report to the Rams’ facility on Tuesday and have a news conference to discuss the trade.

he Eagles agreed Monday to trade star wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Patriots for a first-round draft pick in 2028 and a 2027 fifth-round pick.

The fifth-round selection will be the better of New England's two picks in that round of next year's draft, sources told ESPN.

The trade, which has been discussed and anticipated across the NFL for months, reunites Brown and Patriots coach Mike Vrabel.

In a statement posted to Instagram on Monday, Brown thanked the Eagles and their fans.

"Playing for this city has been an honor, and I'm thankful for every moment I had in midnight green. Thank you, Philly. Much love always. God bless," he wrote.

Brown, who turns 29 on June 30, gives Patriots quarterback Drake Maye a No. 1 target as part of a revamped top of the receiver depth chart alongside free agent signing Romeo Doubs.
