April 12Apr 12 Three people were arrested on a variety of charges after a traffic stop in Bath on Easter Sunday. Bath Village Police say that on April 5th, officers conducted a traffic stop on West Morris Street around 10pm. During the stop, an occupant of the vehicle was seeing trying to discard a container of methamphetimine on the shoulder of the road. A continued search of the vehicle revealed more meth, a scale, packaging material and an illegal pair of chuka sticks. As a result, 32 year old Patricia E. Butler of Painted Post was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to sell, and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia. 35 year old Zachary N. Scott of Painted Post was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 3rd Degree.41 year old Ryan J. Butler was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 3rd Degree.Police say all three were taken to the Steuben County Jail for processing and arraignment before being released.
