I wish movie trailers wouldn't give away every character and so much other things that, by the time you go to the theater, you feel like you've already seen the movie. That said, a new clip revealed that Moss Man will at least make an appearance:

I wish they hadn't revealed so much about what characters are in it, but I guess they have to build the hype. A lot of people are clamoring to know if Orko is in the movie and see him. Why? Let it be a surprise.

One fan theory I've seen is that Orko is the one who tips Adam off to the location of the sword. Some even think he's in disguise as the girl in the toy shop.

Unless they use the years of war to hone Orko's magic, he's not good enough to pull that off.

anyone else feel like among mechaneck, snoutspout and mosqitor; fisto was judge a bridge of rediculousness too far?

I’d have to look at the list of release dates in order, but yeah, at a certain point it just became ridiculous.

Sounds good and could pick up the Flash Gordan parts

Brian May’s guitar playing has a very distinct sound. I like it!

What I don’t like is seeing reports about the opening weekend box office projections being “only” a “modest” $35 million. Because like “Solo” that kind of talk sets a good movie up for the studios backing away from sequels.

What i got from her review wasn't so much the merits of the movie, but, "Ew, that's so 80's."

Thats the vibe I was getting as well.

My buddy, who is WAY more discerning than me when it comes to movies, gave it two thumbs up.

Something I read this morning ( and be careful, spoilers are coming out ) said if anything, the marketing isn’t doing the movie justice. My friend agreed with that sentiment as well.

But I haven’t seen one person comment that they thought it sucked yet.

We went to see it yesterday and it was AWESOME.

There was only five of us in the theater, which surprised me, but all five enjoyed the movie.

The movie doesn't take itself too seriously. Much like the 80's cartoon, it's a little campy, but not too much so. There's some adult humor for sure, but nothing that won't fly over a younger kid's head. The older ones? Well, they've heard it and worse in school already.

I think the casting was very well done. I won't go down the entire list but Nicholas Galitzine does a good job as Adam/ He-Man and Jared Leto steals the show as Skeletor. People complaining because Man-At- Arms is black or because Teela is wearing long pants instead of the battle bathing suit need to get a life.

I could go on and on but I won't. Overall it was 2 hours and 12 minutes of being 8 years old again. I enjoyed every second of it and hope to see a few sequels.
