December 2, 2025Dec 2 Author Seems like people don’t have aquariums in their homes like they used to back in the 70’s and 80’s. Even Walmart was selling fish back in the day:

Even Walmart was selling fish back in the day:I remember other department stores had these too I think.I also remember growing up Dad had one and then we had one for a couple of years when we first moved here. I admit, it was relaxing to watch the fish but it was just another thing taking up space. That and towards the end we had all sorts of issues with the water causing the fish to not lasting long. We still have the tank and stand downstairs in the basement. Every once in a great while I think it’d be nice to have the relaxation of watching fish again but quickly get over it.

I remember when I was a kid about 7 or 8 my dad had to bring a spyder monkey home for the weekend because it couldn't be left in the store. Even after all these year I can remember what an asshole that monkey was. We lived in NJ at the time.

December 20, 2025Dec 20 80’s arcades were the best. I seem to remember there being a good one in Grand Central Plaza. Roseland Park in Canandaguia had a really good one as well.
