U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand To Be Featured In Upcoming UAP (UFO) Documentary, "The Age of Disclosure"

Featured Replies

Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) were once fringe sci-fi concepts.  But have begun to draw serious attention from the government in recent years, and been ‘rebranded’ as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs).

A documentary on government awareness and disclosure of UAPs will be released on November 21 on Amazon Prime,  and have a limited release at theaters in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.

Working with Republicans, Gillibrand helped set up and fund a Pentagon unit called "AARO" for All Doman Anomaly Resolution Office to fully investigate such sightings and testimony regarding the possibility of alien spacecraft or even now underwater vehicles.

The Senator explained last week in a Zoom with Channel 2 that about half the sightings can be explained as weather balloons or other aircraft.

She noted "that means there's 50 percent that are still unidentified and that's a concerning number. I think we have to continue to investigate all sightings so we just know — we just know what are these UAPs, are they drones? Are they adversaries or is it other? But we need to know."

And then on previous claims of a government coverup about UFOs or UAPs, she pointed out: "There was something going on at the DOD at some point. There was some reporting on this where the did have people sign nondisclosure agreements saying they are working on alien programs — they were working on programs of alien materials. And so you have hundreds of people who signed nondisclosure forms, and the nondisclosure forms said things like if you reveal that you're signing this you are at penalty of perjury or death."

I can't be the only person that's starting to hope this stuff is true....and humans will soon know unquestionably that "we aren't alone".

Just for the mere fact that it might be the only thing that could restore some sense of unity and common perspective among people who spend way too time bickering over stuff that's totally insignificant by comparison?

I have always believed this is true.

I have always believed ours isn’t the civilization existing in the whole Universe. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were actual extraterrestrials walking among us. The Movie, The Day The Earth Stood Still comes to mind.

I’ve always believed there are other life forms out there somewhere, intelligent life included. With the sheer size of the universe ( and some believe ours isn’t the only one of those ) it doesn’t seem probable that we’re it.

I’ve always liked Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s view on why other intelligent life haven’t contacted us: He said something like, when’s the last time you bothered to start a conversation with an ant on the sidewalk?

In other words, to another intelligent life form we may seem so primitive as to not be worthy of contacting.

Of course looking around it’s easy to understand that perspective.

Yeah, and expanding on that premise....

I’ve sometimes contemplated the fact that there are countless species that humans study as inconspicuously as we can. For decades, scientists have captured and examined all kinds of animals, birds and sea life before returning them to their habitat to carry....observing from afar.

And at some point, we may take steps to intervene when/if those populations start exhibiting “negative” behaviors or impacts that could disrupt some ‘natural balance’ or trajectory that we would prefer to maintain.

For example......humans are constantly taking measures to curb various wildlife populations from expanding into areas where we've developed our own homes, industries and facilities, etc.

Now that humans have ramped up space exploration and are launching all kinds of stuff outside our established "habitat"......think about how we handle it when some "lower" species (whether it's bobcats, nuisance squirrels or Emerald Ash Borers) starts migrating into spaces we've claimed as ours?

Like someone ( or something ) somewhere gets a look at Voyager 1 and says, “Oh hell no, not in our neighborhood.” ?

Pretty much.

Let's say humans know about a family of beavers that's been quietly inhabiting a remote pond someplace. We generally don't disturb them, and let them go about their business in peace.

If they start expanding their dams and disrupting some waterway, we're likely going to take humane and unobtrusive measures to discourage them. Then if they persist and try to build a bigger dam, we'll send in the DEC to take more obvious steps (like sending in large equipment to dismantle the new structure).

And, as far as we know.....have landowners, DEC bureaucrats or onsite crews ever made any attempt to "communicate" with the beavers and let them know our intentions?
