This report comes to us from our friends at Wiggle 100 FM Former Penn State wide receiver Julian Fleming is facing following a fatal ATV accident that killed his girlfriend in May. Court documents indicate Fleming is charged with nine offenses, including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, homicide by vehicle, and aggravated assault by vehicle while under the influence. Authorities say Fleming had a blood-alcohol content of 0.118 shortly after the crash. One person is dead after a shooting that happened Friday afternoon in Bradford County Police say at about 3:30 PM a 911 call came in for a report of gunshots on Vista Drive in Athens. When police arrived on scene they found a man laying inside the home. EMS were were brought in and the man was taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre where he died from his wounds. UPDATE: According to the Athens Burrough Police Department, no charges will be filed against the person who shot the individual, now identified as 59 year old John J. Kraus. A Steuben County Man is facing several charges for allegedly receiving public assistance benefits under false pretenses. Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on October 2, 2025, Investigators of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54 year old James C. Brutsman of Cameron. Allard says that from October 2024 to September of this year Brutsman offered a false instrument for filing to the Steuben County Department of Social Services and received benefits from the Steuben County Department of Social Services in the amount of $3,374.00 that he was not eligible to receive. Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that at about 11:15am on September 30, 2025, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a missing three-year-old child on County Route 16 in Urbana, New York. It was reported that the child left the home, possibly following a puppy. The Sheriff’s Office, along with the New York State Police, began investigating the report. Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that happened earlier today in Schuyler County. At approximately 11:46 a.m., the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on County Road # 1 in the Town of Hector, NY. Deputies arrived on scene and located a 2010 Ford Fusion that failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway and struck some trees. The driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Michael Blake of Ithaca New York was taken by helicopter to Upstate Medical for treatment of his injuries.
