Elmira Man Arrested On Drug Charges, Outstanding Warrant

On Saturday July 28th, 2018, at approximately 07:48 PM, an Officer of the Elmira Police Department observed 22 year old Zemyuah Y. Graham, who had an active Chemung County Superior Court Warrant for his arrest, as a passenger in a vehicle. The vehicle was observed traveling in the area of East Water St. near Madison Ave. and a traffic stop was performed there due to the active warrant for Graham.


Graham was arrested on the active Superior Court warrant for the charges of two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, a Class B Felony, one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, a Class A Misdemeanor and one count of Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation.

During the investigation Officers located numerous envelopes of heroin and approximately 2 grams weight worth of MDMA pills on Graham’s person. Due to this Graham was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th, a Class C Felony
