Moss Announces Deputy Executive Pick

Sheriff Christopher Moss, the Republican candidate for Chemung County Executive, has announced his choice for the Deputy Executive position. 

In a press release, Moss announced that David Sheen would serve as Deputy Executive is Moss is elected this Fall. 

Sheen, a life long resident of Chemung County is currently the Supervisor for the Town of Southport. 


In addition to being a long time board member for Southern Tier Economic Growth ( STEG ), Sheen has also served the community as member of several boards including Elmira Downtown Development, the Clemens Center, Glove House, and more. 

Moss says Sheen would "...bring a remarkable skill set to the position that includes a mixture of municipal and private sector experience."
