Milliken Announces Re-Election Bid

Chemung County legislator Cornelius J. "Neil" Milliken III, who represents the Seventh District (West Elmira area), announced he will seek election to a second full term.

Milliken, a Republican, was appointed to fill an unexpired term in 2012 and elected to a full term in 2014. He is the son of former legislature Chairman Cornelius J. "Connie" Milliken Jr., who died in 2012.

As a legislator, Milliken has served on the Aviation, Budget, Personnel and Building & Grounds committees. Milliken is a dentist by profession and has maintained a dental practice in Elmira for more than 30 years. 

He is also the former chairman of the Corning Community College Regional Board of Trustees.
