Chalk To Seek Re-Election

Chemung County Legislator Marty Chalk, has announced his re-election campaign to represent the 10th District of the Chemung County Legislature. 

Marty was first elected in 2015 and currently services on the Aviation, Multi Services and Personnel Committees.

Retired from Sysco Food Service after 24 years Marty is still active in our community. He currently serves as President of Elmira Water Board, Friends of Elmira Civil War Prison Camp and Chemung County Sports Hall of Fame and St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery. In addition, Marty is also a board member of the Chemung Historical Society and the Environmental Management Council of Chemung County. 

“I look forward to an opportunity to continue my efforts to enhance the relationship between the county and the city. The taxpayers of Chemung County and the City of Elmira deserve to have cooperative government.”, said Chalk.
