Recommended Posts

An Elmira Heights man was arrested for possession of stolen credit cards after a string of reported thefts.

Earlier today, officers from the Elmira Heights Police Department working the 10P-7A shift were out checking for suspicious activity due to recent thefts.

While police were investigating a report of someone's vehicle entered, a Chemung County Sheriff's Deputy located a subject in the area.

After further investigation Elmira Heights officers charged 18 year old Jarrett Blackman-Rohn with Grand Larceny 4th. Police say Blackman-Rohn was found to be in possession of stolen credit cards from one of the vehicles entered.

Blackman-Rohn was arraigned in Elmira Heights Court and remanded to the County Jail on $5,000 bail.
